TVS launched TVS Scooty in the year 1993 and changed the world of two-wheelers in India. The brand, available in different variants, is still in the demand. The TVS Scooty has become first choice of women scooter riders. The company has several models in the category. Now in TVS Motors portfolio there are TVS Scooty Pep+, TVS Scooty Streak, TVS Scooty Teenz, TVS Scooty Electric and TVS Scooty Streak Hybrid (to be launched soon).
The TVS Scooty is powered by a 4 stroke, air cooled, single cylinder with a displacement of 87.8cc. The compact engine produces a top power output of 5 PS at 6,500 rpm and generates a peak torque of 5.8 Nm at 4,000 rpm. The scooterette has automatic transmission and five litres of fuel tank. In addition it has front 100mm dia of front brake and 110mm of dia rear brake.
TVS Scooty has a kerb weight of 95 kg that improves fuel efficiency. The wheels of the Scooty is sheet metal type. It is provided with a large wheelbase of 1230mm which ensure rigidity and stability to the machine.
TVS Scooty is designed so well that it becomes the first choice of girls. Various colour options also attract women riders. Self start, low saddle height, less weight, ample storage space and other handy features woo women riders as well.  TVS Scooty Teenz This scooty comes loaded with a 59.9 cc of engine displacement.
 TVS Scooty Streak The Streak is powered by a 87.8 cc of engine displacement and has body colour rear view mirrors. An electric variant of the scooty is also available.
 TVS Streak Hybrid This model has two motors installed viz engine and electric motor. The design and style is also very attractive.

TVS Scooty is sought after due to its fuel economy, light weight and storage space. The higher end variant of the TVS Scooty comes loaded with a 4 stroke, air cooled, single cylinder engine with a displacement of 87.8cc. TVS Scooty has the widest range of colour schemes. TVS Scooty Pep+ is available in a few basic colours and 99 colour schemes that can be own by pre-booking. Regular colours are night black, red electric and purple mischief. Fashion colours are perky pink and mystic mauve. There are five body colour options in 'colour me collection' like aqua blue, lustorous pink, naughty brown, fresh green and top frost.
TVS Scooty Streak comes in five body colours that are brezzy blue, mystic mauve, super red, perky pink and magic black. TVS Scooty Teenz is available in purple, black and red hues. The rear view mirrors and rear grab rail of TVS Scooty are painted in body shade. The body colour is also sprayed at front cowl, front middle panels, upper casing of side panels. Whereas pearl white colour is also added to front side and as at the side skirts.

The TVS Scooty is having a small and sweet heart that is of 87.8cc. The power output from the powerplant is 5 bhp at 6500 rpm and torque output is 5.8 Nm at 4,000 rpm. TVS Scooty has sharp nose with sexy flow lines and curves. The headlights used to be located at front panels sides. The front panel works as a leg guard for the rider and it also used for providing storage space in it and in front. TVS Scooty Pep Puls comes with body colour rear view mirrors and rear grab rail. The body colour is painted at front and side panels. It has ABS panels for more safety and rigidity.
The headlamp cluster has clear headlamps and body colour panels. TVS Scooty Teenz sports front turn indicator integrated in headlamp cluster. The rear view mirrors are mounted at the handlebars along with self start switch. TVS Scooty has been blessed with readable meter on dashboard that includes fuel gauge and speedometer. Both comes in analogue format. Right below the dashboard, glove box for office documents and CD's etc is carved. The keyhole is illuminates in the dark that helps to locate the key hole. Nowadays, cell-phone charger slot become common in scooterette and it is not missed in the TVS Scooty.
TVS Scooty has spacious foot board where you can carry bags, tins etc. The seat is flat and longer on which average sized people can sit easily. But for heavier and taller people, it is not recommended. The TVS Scooty Pep Plus has lockable underseat storage space in which you can have your lunch box, helmet, bottles etc. The fuel tank lid is also located under the seat. That means you need to get off the Scooty when re-fulling. Footpegs and foot rest are also provided in the TVS Scooty for comfortable sitting.
The rear grab rail bar comes in body colour and can be used by the passenger for safety and solid grip. A goods carrier is also fitted at the rear end of the seat. The side body panels has most of the graphical work. TVS Scooty is praised for its attractive graphical work also. The tail side has remained same from a long time. But yes, the black colour silencer has silver finish heat shield. All the models of TVS Scooty has different shaped tail lamps, however, rear turn indicator are located in this cluster only.

TVS Scooty Pep+ is a compact and light weight bike. Its overall length is 1735mm, height 1065mm and 657mm of width. TVS Scooty has a ground clearance of 135mm. It has a wheelbase of 1230mm. The size of TVS Scooty models is too small that it can easily clear way even in heavy traffic. If it breaks down, the rider can take it to mechanic on foot easily.
