TVS Motors, the third largest two-wheeler maker in India, is planning to launch TVS Neo in India very soon. The TVS Neo is already being sold in Indonesian market and doing well. The company wants to bring the machine in India with a few changes. TVS Neo has different design but that is not very new to Indian customers. In India, Hero Honda Street and Kinetic K4 was having the same body design. These stepthru bikes are very popular in Indonesia.
TVS Neo is to be loaded with the same powertrain that the Indonesian one has. It has 110 cc engine comprised of 4 stroke, single cylinder and SOHC. The powertrain of TVS Neo generates a peak power of 8.5 bhp at 8,000 rpm and delivers a top torque of 8.5 Nm at 4,500 rpm. The moped has self and kick start options. As other commuter bikes in India, TVS Neo incorporates with 4 speed gears and automatic clutch. The bike has two clutch technology that is called iRide. You can select between these two according to requirement.
TVS Neo is loaded with front disc brake and coil spring suspension at rear end. Surprisingly, the Neo has alloy wheels. The company will use new design muffler in place of existing one. In addition to that, the TVS Neo has digital dashboard that is comprised of fuel gauge, tachometer, tripmeter and speedometer. The tail lamp and turn indicators are in LED. The TVS Neo has a 4 litres of fuel tank and 1260mm of wheelbase.
The appearance of the TVS Neo is a combination of a bike and a scooter. The headlamp of the Neo is halogen type. The front fender of the bike is sharp in body colour. Black alloy wheels adorn the look of the TVS Neo. Seat arrangement is also superb. Tow riders can seat on it easily.

The stepthru vehicle, TVS Neo, has been fitted with a 110cc of engine which pumps out a maximum power of 8.5 bhp at 8000 rpm and belts out a top torque of 8.5 Nm at 4500 rpm. It has got a 4 litres capacity petrol tank. TVS Neo is blessed with dual throttle mode system in view to have a check on fuel consumption. Appearance of Tvs Neo
TVS Neo has a special design and comes in short size. It has been developed for Indonesia only and the response is overwhelming. Now TVS wants to introduce TVS Neo in India with the same look and design except a few minor changes. As far as the design of the vehicle is concerned, it falls between a full-fledged scooter and a compact moped. At the front of the TVS Neo, a full faired fender is fitted in body colour. The front panel is comprised of body colour sheets and silver colour plate at the middle that seems unique.
The TVS Neo has got stylish headlamp cluster. The headlamp cluster is comprised of halogen head light while the turn indicators are placed at front panel in eye-shape in India-bound model. The handlebars are wrapped in body colour covering. Rear view mirrors are mounted on the same. TVS Neo has got full fairing at front and rear side except engine case. The bike has been blessed with digital dashboard which houses speedometer, tripmeter and fuel gauge all in black face.
A mobile charger slot and a keyhole ring would be added to the machine. The keyhole ring helps to point the key slot in night and bad weather. There is huge gape between handlebars and seat. TVS had launched the TVS Neo in Indonesia with many first by it. The bike is designed for carrying two riders and some household articles. The bike has a lot of comfort features including digital dashboard, footboard area, foot pegs, grab rail, advanced forks etc. The TVS Neo is blessed with step-up seat which allows two riders at a time. For safety of passenger, a grab rail bar is added. You can also take some household items at footboard area along with a passenger. The height and width is shorter that's ensure better riding and controlling for even shorter guys. TVS Neo sports latest suspension which increase riding pleasure. Suspension of Tvs Neo
As per some media reports, the TVS Neo would be fitted with coil springs instead of gas charged rear fork for India launch. However, there would be no change in front fork for TVS Neo. Even with this combination, you can expect better results for fun riding.

The TVS Neo is gifted with front disc brake that would be a surprise feature for India bound vehicle.
