Honda has re-launched its popular scooter Honda Aviator a few months back in India, later it was displayed in Delhi Auto Expo 2010. At present, Honda Aviator is available in two variants viz. Honda Aviator Deluxe and Honda Aviator Disc. As it is apparent by its name that the main difference between these variants is braking system, however, width factor is also different for the variants.
Now the Honda Aviator comes with upgraded 109cc of engine incorporating 4 stroke, single cylinder, air cooled, OHC. The mill of the Honda Aviator is capable of generating a top power of 8 bhp at 8,000 rpm and 0.9 kg-m of torque at 5,500 rpm. The scooter sports self and kick start option as well. It has V-matic type of transmission.
The Deluxe variant of Honda Aviator comes embedded with front disc brake and rear drum brake. The scooter has front telescopic fork and rear unit swing with spring loaded hydraulic damper. In addition, Honda Aviator now has bigger front wheel and 10 inch rear wheel along with fatter tyres. The machine has wider under seat storage that is of 20 litres where you can put your full size helmet and other small stuffs. The rear tyre uses tuff-up tube that promises less chances of puncture.
The front panel of the Honda Aviator has got chrome cover that gives it amazing look. Front turn indicators are stacked vertically, it also come in long size. The headlamp cluster houses multi-focal halogen lamp that ensures clear vision at dark. All the front panels are in body colour. The rear side has unique shape multi-reflector tail lamp and integrated sweeping style rear side indicators.
