The Toyota Camry is a premium luxury sedan which was launched in the Indian market about a decade back. The car has been shelved in the price segment of Rs 21 - Rs 23 lakhs where it is taking on the likes of Honda Accord, Volkswagen Passat, Nissan Teana and entry level car models of Mercedes and BMW.

The Toyota Camry model comes powered by a powerful 2.4L engine which generates a massive peak power of 141 bhp. Toyota had rolled-out new face lifted version of the Camry in the Indian market in year 2009. At present, the Camry model is available in both manual and automatic transmission version and Toyota offers the customers to choose the option of with moon roof and without moon roof variants.

The power packed engine of the Camry comes blessed with variable valve timing-intelligent system (VVT-I). The Camry is available with a 5-Speed Gated Automatic Transmission with controls for both uphill and downhill modes.
