Audi A8

The Indian luxury car market is going to get a grand Diwali present in the form of Audi A8. Audi India is gearing up to fight competition thrown at it by rival brands BMW and Mercedes that are doing very well in the Indian luxury market. The all new Audi A8 would be a direct competition to BMW 7series and Mercedes S class. The buyers in the top end category would have more choice and brands to choose from.

Like most Audis, the A8 offers style, comfort, performance and luxury. It is an excellent car to drive and be driven in. Each Audi is a finely crafted product born out of high-quality engineering and artful designing both inside and out.

The Audi A8 would be in India by this Diwali and would be offered in only an extended wheelbase model. It is a gorgeous sedan to look at and includes classic features that you expect from an Audi. The rear of the Audi A8 is very similar to that of the Audi A4 but the car looks great and feels strong with its corporate grille and virtually all-aluminium body/chassis structure.

Audi A8 would be available in both petrol and diesel engine units. The diesel engines would be either a 3.0 V6 Tdi with 240bhp found in Audi A4, A6 and Q5 or it could also be a 4.2 V8 Tdi diesel unit with 350bhp that powers Audi Q7 SUV. However, the petrol V8 would have 4.2 DOHC V8 FSI and the range topping W12. A8 has an eight-speed automatic transmission which has paddles on the steering wheel and Quattro four-wheel drive as standard.

The Audi A8 would come loaded with reclining rear seats, massage and foot rests, Active cruise control with a low speed stop and go capability, blind spot monitoring, lane assistance and night vision, a power trunk lid, four-zone climate control, Bluetooth connectivity, additional aluminum interior trim, ambient interior lighting, and full-LED headlamps as well as tail lamps.

The safety features also include a system called pre-sense which activates the hazard lights, closes the windows and sunroof and pre-tensions the seat belts if the brakes are fully applied.

The outgoing Audi A8 is priced at around Rs 72.45 Lakh ex-showroom Delhi and the new one is also expected to be around the same mark.

10 strange facts about space you should know about

We realize that space is boundless. Possibly we can never learn enough about it, however it doubtlessly has the capability of acquainting new and peculiar wonders with us. Researchers and space travelers do that work well indeed and consistently concoct things and hypotheses that are intriguing as well as now and again so weird that they sound inconceivable. What's more, the majority of us are curious about such bizarre realities. Following is one such rundown of 10 peculiar realities about space you presumably didn't have the foggiest idea. 1. In the year 2009, our radio space explorers began accepting radio signs from an exceptionally bizarre item from another cosmic system, M82, which is 10 million light-years away. The item might be a miniature variant of the most brilliant article known to man or a "miniature quasar," as such. Researchers don't think a lot about the article. 2. In a world 12 billion light-years away, there is a dark opening water fume clou

Realities about the Earth

1) Earth is the third planet from the sun in our nearby planetary group. Its name comes from the early English and Germanic words signifying 'the ground'. 2) Our astonishing planet has been around for a long while. By investigating our planet's stones, researchers have determined the Earth to be around 4.5 billion years of age! 3) Like every one of the planets, Earth circles (goes around) around the sun. Also, it does as such at some genuine speed – around 30 kilometers each second, truth be told! It requires 365 days (one year) for the Earth to finish one full circle. 4) Have you at any point asked why we have various seasons? We'll advise you – this is on the grounds that the Earth is shifted 23.4 degrees on its 'pivot', a nonexistent line straight through the center of the planet structure the North Pole toward the South Pole. This implies that various pieces of the globe are shifted towards the sun at various seasons (or at various occasions during its c
